Does standalone GPU-Z work normally? This hardware is quite old and we have no way to attempt to reproduce this here and if disabling GPU-Z DLL allows everything to work (minus no GPU data), the issue is most likely not in our code.

We have a new version coming up next week so if latest GPU-Z standalone works, this may solve it.

You could also try older versions of SystemInfo

https://benchmarks.ul.com/downloads/Futuremark_SystemInfo_v517_installer.msi

https://benchmarks.ul.com/downloads/Futuremark_SystemInfo_v516_installer.msi

https://benchmarks.ul.com/downloads/Futuremark_SystemInfo_v515_installer.msi

https://benchmarks.ul.com/downloads/Futuremark_SystemInfo_v514_installer.msi

etc. you can find any older version by just modifying the URL. Uninstall current version, install one of these. If you can confirm which version(s) fail similar to latest 5.18 it would help narrow down which GPU-Z DLL update causes this.

Yes, thanks for the reply. I just went back, far back to version 4.48 before I saw your reply and that seems to be working. You'll note from the screenshot that the current latest version of GPU-z (2.21.0) is working just fine. I'll work through the older versions I have and see where the issue begins.

Then I recommend using 5.17 for now. There will be a 5.19 next week - hopefully it solves this.

System info 5.18, 5.19 and the newest 5.20 still all crash on the gpu-z.dll. 5.17 continues to work. The latest system I'm benchmarking exhibits this behaviour: Windows 7, AMD 790FX chipset board / Phenom II X4 940 BE / Radeon HD 5850 with Catalyst 15.7.1: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/13445417
